Please help us create a Fear Free® shelter experience for the pets in our care.
The pandemic showed major benefits for our animals by limiting day to day traffic. There was a drastic decrease in signs of stress, behavioral issues and bite incidents.
Our staff is now Fear Free certified and will be making some permanent changes to our facility to improve the stay for our animals.
Visitors to the shelter can help by:

Keeping kennel doors closed at all times.

Keeping fingers out of kennels.

Using calm, quiet voices when speaking around the animals.

Not using physical restraint when doing animal meet and greets.

*Give animal’s personal space at all times.
*Unsupervised walks through the dog kennels are no longer permitted*
