EDUCATION FOR ALL
Humane Education Program leads to a kinder community for all.
Animal Allies Humane Society shares our mission and message with classrooms and community organizations through planned lessons and programs.
Animal Allies Humane Society offers a robust Humane Education Program for children, youth and adults. This specialized programming offers humane education tools for local classrooms, corporate presentations, and community resources.
Because caring children become caring adults.
Grade level lessons for classrooms are based on the 'CHARACTER COUNTS!' principles outlined by the Humane Society of the United States. Humane education focuses on empathy, responsibility, respect, and citizenship, which define our actions with people as well as animals.
If you know of a classroom or community organization that would benefit from one of our humane education programs, please contact our Humane Education Manager, Nicole Facciotto. 218-722-5341 ex. 220
Humane education visits for children and adults are available free of charge for classrooms, organizations, business groups, and more- thanks to generous funding provided by the Kenneth A. Scott Foundation and the Irving Community Club.
Should you wish to contribute to our Humane Education program funding, additional donations are welcomed but not required in order to schedule a presentation.
Would you like to rent our Humane Education Room for a meeting, potluck, baby shower, wedding shower, or other type of gathering? Groups of up to 25 are welcome to rent our meeting space for their gathering.
Our work is made possible thanks to community support from individuals, families and foundations.
We especially thank the Kenneth A. Scott Charitable Trust, a KeyBank Trust.
Special thanks to the Irving Community Foundation, The Northland Foundation,
The PetCo Foundation and Pizza Luce' for your on-going support.
Thank you to the many classrooms, teachers, families, and individual children
who collect donations, raise money, and donate to our programs!
